She tried everything to relieve one year old daughter Kelisha’s eczema, which got so bad, the young mother was scared to leave the house
The mum of a baby whose eczema was so severe it looked like she’d had “boiling water poured over her” has told how she keeps her symptoms at bay - using a £4.50 cream.
Joanne, 28, from Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland, is raving about Childs Farm products - along with a string of other mums.
She tried everything to relieve one year old daughter Kelisha’s eczema, which got so bad, the young mother was scared to leave the house for fear of people commenting on the painful condition.
Joanne, who is expecting her fourth child, first noticed patches on little Kelisha’s elbows and legs when she was three months old.
After a few weeks the eczema spread to Kelisha’s face and head, and doctors prescribed her with steroid creams.
Joanne says Kelisha’s eczema was so severe people would stare when they were out in public, and one stranger even asked what had happened to her face.Joanne felt her confidence as a mum ebbing away as people gawped at her daughter’s facial eczema in judgement.
The steroid creams prescribed by doctors only gave temporary relief to the condition, which had left Kelisha’s skin bleeding and weeping.
Desperate to find a more lasting solution, Joanne bought Childs Farm’s £4.50 Baby Moisturiser in June 2017 after reading about the product online.
Childs Farm is now available in Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Waitrose and Boots as well as online from Parents have been leaving stellar reviews for the moisturiser, which contains shea and cocoa butter, on review sites everywhere.

My little girl has had eczema from 3 weeks old and we have brought and been prescribed every eczema cream going with no luck, but within days of using this cream it cleared it up.
"It is also the only cream I have ever been able to apply without her screaming that it stings!""I'm now 3 days into using it, my face has never been softer and the eczema on my arms is now nothing more than a few faded marks.
"I've gone from having an extremely flaky, red face and arms covered in sores to being well on my way to clear skin. I couldn't recommend this moisturiser enough."
The product is available for £4.50 on the Child's farm website and other retailers including ASDA, boots and more.
