Masked suspect captured on camera robbing Somali restaurant at gunpoint

Columbus Police are searching for a suspected thief who held-up a restaurant worker in Linden at gunpoint.

“I mean it was so scary,” said Mukhtar Issa, manager at Calanley Somali Restaurant on Cleveland Avenue.

Issa says one of his cashiers was robbed on December 30th when a masked gunman walked into the business and demanded cash, while a customer stood at the counter.

“The good thing is that nobody got injured, that’s the thing that made me happy,” said Issa.
